Thanks to everyone who sang carols with us on December 17th – the third year we’ve done this and by far the most successful. We had Sue’s mulled wine as an attraction but the charity we were supporting – Save the Children Syria appeal – must also have moved people. It could hardly not. Even before we started, a passer by gave us a handful of pound coins without waiting even for a mince pie. £240 was donated altogether. Thanks for being so generous and in such fine voice. The money was with SCF the same day. A lovely community occasion in a beautiful setting – pop by next year!
