Events and meetings – scroll down for listings
Regular Friends events include:
- An AGM, usually in March, when we report to members on the past year’s activities and elect a committee for the coming year
- A party on the Saturday nearest to St George’s Day. This is a free event, organised by the Friends using funds generously donated by our corporate supporters. There is music, Punch and Judy, face-painting, a children’s entertainer/juggler, and tea and cakes as well.
- Participation in Open Garden Squares Weekend. Although the Gardens are open every day, OGSW gives us useful publicity and we had over 150 visitors at the 2016 event.
- A Graves lecture walk around the time of All Souls Day or as part of the Bloomsbury Festival.
- Lunchtime carol singing and mulled wine on a Saturday before Christmas.
