The next event in the Gardens will be from Shakespeare’s Wanderers, with a roaring twenties version of Twelfth Night. The show opens on July 26, for five nights, Monday to Friday. The Wanderers say that ‘Shakespeare is for everyone’ and their shows aim to be ‘bright, bold and entertaining’. We’re very happy that they’ve been able to organise a return visit to the Gardens after such a terrible year for actors. Please support them.
You can buy tickets on the night but it will be much easier if you buy them online. You can get tickets here – just click on one of the five dates listed for the Gardens. Tickets cost £15 (adult), £13 (Senior or 18+ student), £8 (child) or £36 for a family of two adults and two children (so that’s a real bargain). Then bring a rug, and enjoy first night Pimm’s. The shows begin at 6:30pm.
- If you can’t get to the show, consider supporting the Wanderers crowdfunding appeal. The company are asking for donations to keep ticket prices down and make Shakespeare as accessible as possible.
