The Gardens are there to be used and enjoyed, but please do it in ways that don’t disturb other users too much.
Bicycles
Never cycle through the Gardens.
Dogs
You are welcome to exercise dogs in the Gardens but keep them under control and tidy up afterwards. Be aware of Camden Council’s policy on dog fouling and dog control.
Children’s parties
People living locally sometimes organise children’s parties and picnics. You are welcome to do this provided numbers don’t go above 20 and provided you take away all the rubbish. There are foxes in the Gardens and they like to distribute the contents of litter bins around the Gardens at night. Don’t make it easy for them.
Barbecues
You can barbecue, but following Camden Council’s BBQ guidelines. Use portable, reusable charcoal barbecues, not disposable or gas barbecues.
Larger events
If you want to hold an event with more than 20 people, with promotion, music, sale of food or alcohol please refer to www.camden.gov.uk/events. The Friends are normally consulted about such event applications so sound us out first, if you wish.
